Grande Espresso Roast Frappuccino
Best frappuccino! I don’t know if it’s brewed coffee or just espresso but it was darn good!

ginjaninja asked: What's the difference between a black&white mocha and tuxedo? They sound the same. Are they the same??
Yes ma’am they are the same everyone has a different name for it :)

Iced Grande Tuxedo
Errands equal a trip to Starbucks, always. So for today a grande tuxedo was on the list which is 2 pumps of white mocha and 2 pumps of mocha and there you have a tuxedo! It was creamy and chocolately but not one chocolate overpowered the other which was good. There was also whipped cream on top so basically it was dessert. This drink was courtesy of the 15th Ave Interbay Starbucks. I should’ve asked for the barista’s name because she was super nice and looked at my name on my gold card and asked me a question using my name. It’s the personal touches that can make a difference in the experience. Good day good drink!

It’s just so complicated but oh so chocolately, sweet, and cold. Perfect for a sunny Saturday! Thanks again to the Queen Anne Starbucks for another crazy drink :)

Venti Black Tea
Yup Sammi Jo at the 525 Starbucks in Mukilteo made me her favorite again. This black tea has no classic syrup it’s just the tea which is good and refreshing!

So the Clover is an innovative brewing system that only brews one cup of coffee at a time. The water temp and brew time is controlled digitally by the machine and there’s a thermal blanket that surrounds the brew chamber. Also higher quality beans are used for the machine so when the two are combined it produces an awesome cup of coffee, also more expensive.

Iced Grande Malawi on the Clover
Rainy rainy Sunday. Where did our lovely sunshine go? Coffee always makes rainy day better (as do Chonga bagels). Courtesy of the remodeled Ballard on Market St. Starbucks, the Malawi blend on the amazing Clover machine is awesome! It’s bold but smooth at the same time. No need to add milk or syrups it’s good just the way it is. Then paired with a Chonga bagel toasted with cream cheese and you have the recipe to cheering up a rainy Sunday.
-
Iced Grande Vanilla Latte
Not the most exciting drink but it’s a classic. It’s that added the vanilla that gives the latte the little extra something. When paired with a pastry such as the very berry coffee cake you don’t need two sweet things. It’s nice to have the pastry be the sweet and the vanilla latte to be it’s chill and complementary counterpart.
On a different note: The Via Duct was closed which is a total pain in the butt so I’m very thankful for my coffee and pastry…it might’ve been problematic otherwise.

The barista who made my drink signed her name and her location on my cup, way cool! I should start having other baristas do this too, thanks Sammi Jo! So Sammi Jo’s drink for me was Venti black tea extra shaken without classic syrup or water. I was slightly apprehensive at first because there was no buffer flavors but it was actually very good and refreshing. It went quite nicely with my everything with cheese bagel.

An in between class pick me up. Created by the great Marianne, it was a Kona on the Clover with breve and coconut. The drink reminded me of being in Hawaii with the Kona coffee and the coconut. The breve made the drink smooth and creamy but I think it would’ve been good which is always a plus in my book!
